STANDING COMMITTEES

Standing Committees are required to play an oversight role within the municipality. They are to oversee the municipal performance in different departments, how the resources are utilized. The committees are to ensure that communities are involved in any decisions made at a local government level to ensure appropriate service delivery. They also investigate matters and make recommendations for consideration by the Executive Committee (EXCO).

The following are the four standing committees and its members:-
